How to check for Fastpass

Ok guys Ive had my fastpasses picked out since the 60 day mark hit. We are heading to Universal one day and unfortunately that one day is the last day of refurb for one of the harry potter rides. So I was looking at switching one of our half days at MK to that day and going to Universal that day. Were not doing any meals at MK that day, so the only problem would be Fastpasses. The Fastpasses we have for that day are: Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, and peter pan. So my question is how do I check for FP availability on that day the 18th with out canceling these FP's first? When I go to add a FP I cant because we only have park tickets for 5 days and currently they are being used. I guess my 2nd question would be how likely would we be able to get these three FP in the morning to early afternoon (before 2) in order to keep this a half day at the park?

I have tickets in my MDE, and for Dec. 18th, BTMRR and Splash are available in the morning. PP is not.
