How to Change Sailing <2 Mo. out if already checked in?

So we've had our March 3rd cruise planned for a while and we've paid in full and already checked in! We were just planning to do a WDW Room Only (no parks) for a few days and then go to the cruise, well DVC just came out with the free 25 & Beyond Bash at MK on March 3rd, the day of our sailing! We're from WA so this is a big deal, east coast flights aren't cheap and we want to take advantage of this! Anyway we want to change our sailing to this same length March 4th sailing, it's ~$200 more, it doesn't mess up our flights or anything.

Is there a way to do this online - or will we lose anything if we do? We had the perfect room and port arrival times were already being grabbed fast, I just know we'd be sacrificing that for this one party. The other con for us is we REALLY wanted to see the new Tangled show on the Magic, and our new cruise would be on the Dream. :/ BUT there will be other cruises and only one ever 25 and Beyond Bash. BTW this is our first Disney cruise.

We're booking with Dreams and I know I could email our agent and ask, but it's the weekend and I want to know if anyone knows anything over here.

You have passed the paid-in-full date for your cruise. To change to a different cruise date requires cancelling the one you are on and paying the penalty - which is your deposit, at the minimum. Look at the cancellation specifics on your cruise contract.

Edited to add - you would pay the current price for the new cruise, in addition to the penalty for canceling your original cruise. If your cruise was less expensive when you booked it than it is now, the price difference between the two could be a lot more than $200.

Given past DVC parties, I surely wouldn't go out of my way to attend one especially if it was going to cost extra money to alter my plans.
