If you are frustrated with the busy signals or mega long wait times (reported over two hours on some busy days) when calling the Disney Vacation Club member service line, then I have a fantastic solution to bypass the long wait times and get a cast member to immediately to pick up the phone and talk to you.
This tip is only for DVC members and you must be a current DVC owner (i.e. not a guest booking via an owner). Also I am not sure this works for resale owners or just for people that bought direct from Disney, so post your success or failure here.
Please keep this information secret and do not post this information anywhere but on this thread. This works best with an Apple iOS iPhone (version 12 or higher) or a landline, and I have not tested it on an Android phone.
Here is the top-secret technique to bypass the long wait:
Call DVC customer service at 800-800-9800 and when you hear “Welcome Home” you have to act fast and type the following code on your phone’s keypad:
"Press 27745 and then wait two seconds and then press 36657"
It is easy to make a mistake the first time you try this, so here it is again
Dial 800-800-9800
Wait until you hear “Welcome Home”
Quickly press 2, then press 7, then press 7, then press 4, then press 5
Wait two seconds, then
Quickly press 3, then press 6, then press 6, then press 5, then press 7
