I went on the Sea World Orlando website :surfweb: and the only dining I saw I could book for this restaurant is the Adult/Kids Party evening there. I'm not interested in that..I just wanted to book dinner for us 3. Any advice??:confused3

TIA :flower3:

You have to make reservations at the park that day. If you are a passholder you can make an advance reservation.

Ok, so we are going to Dis in October/November, which will cover my daughter's bday. We thought Sea World would be a great way to spend her special day, and somebody told me about the Sharks Underwater Grill. So I called to make a reservation, and here's how it went.

Me: hi, I'd like to make a reservation for Sharks...

Lady on Phone: We don't take reservations. You need to stop at the restaturant when you arrive at the park, and they'll give you a ticket for your priority time. Then you come back at that time, but it's first come, first served, so if there are 10 other groups with that time, whoever is there first will get in.

Me: Oh, well, this is for a party of 10, for a birthday, so I think we need something a bit more secure. Do you make accomodations for larger parties, or special occasions?

LOP: No, this is our only restaurant that doesn't accept reservations. You could try our Luau.

Me: No, thank you. We're not interested in a luau, just the sharks.

LOP: Oh, well they'll love it. They bring the kids a huge gummy shark for dessert.

Me.: that's nice, but we are back to not having a reservatoin and not wanting to risk breaking the birthday girl's heart.

LOP: Right, we don't take reservations there. It's the only place that doesn't. You just visit the restaurant when you arrive, and then enjoy your day.

Me: You said that, but I hate to take up part of our day signing up for a seating that isn't guaranteed. For a BIRTHday.

LOP: There's always the luau, that's very popular.

Me: Thanks but no, we'd like to try Sharks but will have to make it another time. We'll go back to Coral Reef at Epcot this time. And could you perhaps mention to the management that many customers would love to be able to make an actual reservation for a special place like this?

LOP: The management is already well aware.

Me: Well, perhaps the more often they hear it the more likely they'd change their policy to accomodate groups such as ours.

LOP: There is never an empty seat in the place. They don't need to worry.

Me: Of course. Thanks for your time.

Magic, I tell ya!!!! :rotfl:
