How to book RCI using DVC points?

This thread is very educational. We were going back and forth with our 2018 points but decided to go ahead and do Disney before they expired.

We have 270 points from 2018 June UY, from a May cancellation which were extended to November 30th, can we deposit these in RCI ? If so what is the deadline? Many thanks as I have no idea how this works.

And, I have read you can pay $100 to extend an additional year if it’s not!

Yes, my RCI points would have expired Dec 31, 2020 so I paid $100 to extend them till Dec 31, 2021.

Points need to be deposited 45 days before the end of the UY. You can go as late as 14 days but they become a lot more restricted,

Once you pass those dates, the points can not longer be deposited

What about 2018 points that were extended to November 30, what is the deadline for depositing these points in RCI, is it 45 days before the end of November?

That is what has been reported by those who have asked. So I believe that is October 17th?
