How To: Airtran Online Check In

Okay, So I Have My Actual Tickets In Hand To Fly Out Of Pittsburgh Next Thursday On Airtran And I Want To Check In On Line. What Do I Need And It Looks Like I Need My Confirmation Number, Where Would I Find That? I Just Want To Be Prepared This Is The First Flight For My Daughters 5 And 2. Also, If I Check-in Online Do I Get To Choose My Seats Or Does That Happen At The Airport. Thanks For Any Help.

You can check in online 24 hours before departure. Your confirmation number should be on your reservation form if you booked online or they should have given it to you if you booked by phone. You just go to their homepage and there's a section for online checkin. They will show you the available seats and you can select them from there. Print out your boarding passes and take them to the airport with you. You should get 2 copies of each document. So make sure you have the airport copy and your copy before going on to the next page. Make sure there are barcodes on all your boarding passes. There won't be any on your copy. Have a good trip!!

I was trying to figure out if I could do that, but a friend of mine told me I couldn't because Disney and Airtran sent me actual paper tickets. You could always call AirTran and ask how and if you can check-in online.

Yes, I've selected seats on my laptop at WDW and had them printed at curbside check at MCO. I don't believe they have curbside check at PIT by the way.

Note that AirTran does not use paper tickets. They only use E-tickets. It's really easy to get on their web site within 24 hours of departure to pick out your seats and print your boarding passes. Unless you have luggage to check you can just go to security and right to your gate. As someone else noted, if you cannot print out your boarding passes just pick out your seats and you can get the boarding passes at the airport. They have kisoks that you can use unless you have to get in line to check your luggage.

I Do Have Actual Paper Tickets. They Were Sent To Me By Disney. And We Will Have Lots Of Luggage To Check!!! I'll Try To Do What I Can Next Wedensday And Let Everyone Know What Happens.

I also booked my AirTran flights through Disney and you CANNOT check in online.

I have booked directly through AirTran lots of times and checked in online, but since Disney sent paper tickets it is not possible

I booked through Expedia last time and got paper tickets, and we weren't able to check-in online either.
