How to add someone to a reservation?

Do I need to cancel and then grab it up again with my new # of guests, or can they just add 1 more guest to my existing reservation?

How many were on the original reservation?

You can call and try to add 1. They may not be able to do it. If not, you need to look for an ADR to fit your total number.

Try using the Disney app to locate an ADR that fits your party - it will prompt you to cancel your previous reservation, if applicable. I have also had luck calling Disney Dining reservations directly and they were able to change the party number with ease

I would search and if the correct number reservation is available, it will prompt you to drop the other. Otherwise, call. I've achieved quite a bit over the phone.

I've been able to modify my existing reservation in the MDE app to add on people (dependent on availability).

What's the secret to getting a rep from Disney Dining to add another person to your reservation? I have an ADR for Crystal Palace on 8/8 at 8:05am. I made to reservation for 8 instead of 9. I called yesterday to see if I can add another person to my reservation and they told me they could not. I mean is it really that much difference to add 1 more person?? I really want to keep this reservation but I need for a party of 9 instead of 8....any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am continuing to search daily for another 8:00 am reservation for 9 but getting nervous....
