How tired are you after a day at DC?

With DC being open from 9-5:30, how tired are you at the end of the day? I'm trying to figure out if my family - DH, DS13, DS7 and I should go back to our Disney Resort (CSR) and have a nice sit down dinner there or if we'll be up to heading to Epcot for dinner there. My boys don't mind being on the go, but will be too tired from swimming all day?

Thanks!

We went when my kids were 8 & 10 and thought it was a pretty relaxing day for a "waterpark". We weren't tired at all when we left.

We went when DD was 12. We spent all day there in order to maximize our time. We also spent a good bit of time snorkeling, so for us, we would have not enjoyed Epcot for dinner. We went more low-keyed and did dinner at a restaurant off-property

For us, the lunch at DC was so plentiful that we weren't in the mood for a big dinner later. Also, we had spent the entire day snorkeling (didn't sit down all day I think except for lunch) and swimming in the river, and were pretty worn out at the end of the day. But at the same time it is a very laid back place so depending on how your family spends their time there it may not be a tiring day for you.

We are always absolutely exhausted after a day at Discovery Cove. We usually have a quick bite to eat at Sweet Tomatoes in the evening and then it is off to bed.

I think it just depends on the people. If your going when the heat is sweltering, I think you'll be tired out. Yes it's a relaxing day and your pretty much in the water at all times, but the sun wears ya out. I'd say eat at your resort that way you can go to your room. You might be surprised. You may not feel tired, but as soon as you hit the bed your asleep.

We just came back from WDW and we went to Discovery Cove we just stuck around our resort ( All Star Music).

Hope this helps ya out!
