How tall is your Christmas tree?

Just curious what the range of sizes people have... we have a 7.5 ft. tree right now, but recently moved into a new house and are thinking about getting a bigger tree. The ceiling in our living room is 12' so we are just about ready to get a 9.5 ft. tree.

Anybody know the largest size tree (artificial) they make?

We have a 9.5 ft on our main level and LOVE it! I have a smaller one downstairs also.

We have a 7.5. We have cathedral ceilings and I want a taller one. MIL has 25 ft. ceilings and puts up a 12 footer that is just gorgeous. It looks like it belongs in a mall. But I would hate to have to put one up that big and then have to turn around and take it down a few weeks later. I think I would just leave it up all year. We leave ours at the office up all year and just decorate for the different holidays. We do an awesome Mardi Gras tree. :goodvibes

I have about a 12 footer with 20 foot ceilings. I am cooked. I got the tree decorated today and I am just wooped. Getting the lights on that puppy alone wears me out. But anything smaller in that room would look stupid.

Our SAYS it is 5 foot but there is no way. I think it is about 4 foot. It is the tree my parents got when I was born, so it is on its 26th christmas right now :flower: We put it on an end table, have found ds doesnt bother it as much. we will get a bigger one when he (and the new baby) get a little older, but right now we just dont have any budging room in the budget. Because it is next to the couch, from outside it looks like a full-size tree, as no one can see the end table.

Ours is 7.5 feet which is an improvement over the 6 ft. one we had before. :)

Our family has a history of getting huge trees every year! We get a real tree and it's always been oversized, but since we've been in our present house with a 28 ft ceiling in the family room, we have actually gotten trees over 15 ft tall and really bushy! Last year's was probably 8 ft wide at the base. We are actually heading out to the tree farm on Sunday in hopes that the last 'big one' is still there waiting for us! My husband keeps telling the kids that we have to downsize, but they're determined to get the biggest one possible. It takes a small army to get it in the stand and upright that's for sure! :teeth:

I think it's a 10 foot tree - the room has a 30 foot ceiling. It might look better to have an even taller one buy DW and I are pretty short and I don't want to spend more time on a ladder than I have to.

Right now I have a 7 ft tree up. It was the perfect size in my home before I moved but now it looks really tiny in my new home. I did find a 12 ft prelit at Sams that is really beautiful. I hope to buy it after christmas on sale.... :teeth:

Wow... 30ft ceilings... I would definitely love to have a bigger tree if I had a ceiling that height.
