How tall are OKW's buildings?

Are most of them 3 floors? I'm booked for OKW in June, and I wonder if I should request first floor. I know we'll use bell services, but I doubt that I could walk down from the 3 rd floor every time we left the room. 2 stories I can handle, I think. If most are only 2 floors, I'll take my chances, but if most or half are 3 floors, I'll request first.

We have a studio, and I've read that many studios are dark because of overgrown foilage, that's why I'm willing to try 2nd floor. Our only other OKW stay had us in a wonderful building with an elevator, by chance.

Thanks,

i think either most have 2 stories or they are about equal.

just request no higher than 2nd floor.

you know I like the steps at SSR better - each step seems to fix me a little better than OKW.

Wow, thanks! I didn't realize that so many were 3 stories.

Its 36 steps to the 3rd floor. Can you tell we've been there/done that? :)

Bobbi,

If you think you can handle second floor, I'd be tempted to request first floor. And if you expect to have difficulty with the stairs (remember, it could be raining or otherwise ugly outside), I'd make it 1st floor, medical necessity.

You have to weigh whether you're going to be sitting in the room or on the balcony against all the times each day you will climb the stairs...tired, grumpy, in inclement weather, etc., etc.

I'd go for comfort and let the view/sunlit ambiance be whatever it is.
