(oops! it should be "How soon IS too soon?". Sorry!
I hope I put this in the correct forum!
How soon is too soon to book a Disney vacation? I'm going in Oct. but thinking about taking my mom and sister there in late 2008/early 2009. When I've gone to the Disney website to check on rooms and prices and stuff like that, it won't let me see if anything is available that far in advance. The same with all the other travel sites (hotels.com, various airlines, etc.)
If I do indeed plan on booking this vacation, do I need to actually speak with someone instead of trying to do in online (which is impossible)?
I see people here on the forum are planning WDW vacations for 2008/2009. Any advice?

Rates for 2008 will be released in late July or August. A few days after that you'll be able to do some comparison shopping on the website.

Rates for 2009 won't be out till NEXT July or August.

Once you know where you want stay, its never to soon to book a reservation, you can always change your mind, and if you find a better rate, they will always honor it if your dates work.:goodvibes
