How soon do you pack for a vacation?

Hi, and Happy New Years.

I was curious to see how far in advance do you usually pack for a vacation. Do you wait until the day before or do you pack earlier than that.

It depends on if it's a one day trip, a weekend trip or a week long. A one day trip I decide on that day to go. A weekend trip I decide on that Monday to go that week. A weeklong trip takes months.

Thanks and Happy New Year to you to. I thought about starting to pack tonight, but then I decided that I could wait until Saturday to do it, since it won't take me that long. Since I'm seeing a musical in Vegas while I'm there, I have to pack a set of casual dress clothes and don't want them to get wrinkled.

I have to share that this trip we just took we actually were fully packed a whole day before we left. It was so much easier and less stressful than trying to pack hours before our flight. I usually wait until the last minute and end up doing laundry and packing until wee hours of the early morning.

We usually set things that we are bringing with us, but don't need between now and then on the dining room table a couple weeks before. We then pack everything a day or two before we leave.

Depends..im leaving here next saturday..ill probably start packing wed or thur...just throw s tuff in that i dont need and finish saturday morning
