How small is this???????

My co workers' grand daughter just had a baby last week that weighed 1lb. 14 oz. The baby looks like he is going to make it so far. I can not imagine having a baby that small. The mom was 26 weeks along.

Wanted to let you all know that when I went into work this morning I found out that this little baby died. I have not spoken to my co-worker (great grand mother of baby)so I do not know what happened. She had been so excited that she was going to be able to touch the baby at the beginning of this next week. There is now a very tiny baby angel in heaven.I hope that my posting this update does not upset GEM as I know her baby was even smaller.
