How should I dress DD3 for a bowling birthday party in NYC?

DH's coworker invited us and DD3 to his DD6's birthday pay at Chelsea (sp) Pier in NYC for a bowling party tommorrow. I heard it is supposed to be cold and rainy. Should I just dress us both in jeans, or less casual because it's NYC?
 
Jeans sound fine ... pair 'em w/a funky top!
