Stitch's Great Escape -- I think that 's the name. My daughters want to go on it when we are in WDW. They have never done that one. They are 10 and 6 1/2. The 10 year old is actually the bigger chicken but she has been the one asking for this attraction. I told her about it (having been on it in it's old incarnation) and she is still interested.

i didnt think it was that scary, maybe for a youg child it would be. i'm just still trying to figure out what that ride was all about though, and i'm still waiting for something to happen. nothing happens on that ride, except for a few blackouts, and one or two small surprises. if you can avoid it, i wouldnt even both with that ride.

It gets pitch black for a while. It's isn't much of a Disney experience, but if your girls like Stitch they should like it okay. My dd5 at the time was a little scared during the darkness but thought is was fun in the long run. I wouldn't not go on it unless your children are afraid of the dark. And it gets very, very dark in there.

My 5 year old didn't like it at all. It gets pitch dark, you get wet and it's loud. She cried and covered her ears through it all.

Of course, every child is different.

i scare easily so stitch's great escape scared me quite a bit. i love stitch and will go again but it is a little scary. that's just my opinion though.

My kids 4 and 5 were really scared. My son can't tolerate bad smells and they let of some stink bomb smalling stuff off on the ride.

If you decide that your children can handle it ( and only you can decide) then just make sure to explain everything to them beforeheand that way they wont be as scared if they know what to expect. You should tell them about being strapped in and that it is very dark, but mommy will be with you etc. I think if they know what will happen and what to expect then it could be less intense. Nothing really scary happens while in there...it is just the illusion of being strapped in and the dark and the loud noises that make it "scary"

My 4 yr old son thought it was funny. He liked the fact that Stitch "jumped" on him. The harness on your shoulders moves down to simulate stitch jumping around. My 4 yr old is pretty fearless though, he also liked test track, splash mountain, big thunder mountain and the haunted mansion.

I did see another young girl crying when we were leaving the ride.

Not as scary as I thought it would be. I took my youngest (just turned 5 during the trip) and she's the biggest scaredy cat when it comes to loud noises and especially darkness. Ironically she just closed her eyes when it went pitch dark (LOL go figure...) and she was fine. I mean not like she was begging to ride it again afterwards but she wasn't scared/crying/etc. like I thought she might.
Ofcourse all my kids were laughing at the burp... my kids, I tell ya. LOL

Im 15 and I was startled a few times. I didnt know what to expect though... now that I know id def go on it again.

I didn't think it was entertaining and the seat just me in all the wrong places. It's like they cut off the top half of the back. I don't know why. I had to hold myself up with my stomach muscles so I was really hoping the thing would just end so I could sit up properly. :confused3

First, it isn't a ride. You walk thru 2 pre-shows and sit in a seat. The show goes on in front of you. It gets dark, Stitch appears in cartton form and "real" form, then you exit. It can be scary for kids, and startling for all if you've never been before. Smelly, too.

They have minimized the completely dark parts. Worse than being slightly scary to it's target audience, the attraction still seems to just be missing something - like several pages of script! The Stitch AA is great looking, but it just sees to need some more story. Also, they were supposed to use a different film of MK for day and nigt, but they don't.

Maybe someday, they'll use the Stitch AA in a fully realized attraction!
