How reputable is Jim Hill?

I swear I'm sick of hearing rumors on how Avatar Land is delayed, EVERY MONTH

I know especially when it's not delayed.

I really like Jim Hill and think he has good information, especially about Disney history. He does seem to give a little too much weight to rumors from time to time but I really enjoy his insight.

Avatar is still on schedule to open in 2017 like it was supposed to. Jim thinks it could be late 2017 to early 2018.

Jim Hill is the reason I no longer by the Unoffical Guide. SOrry but paying for printed versions of 'things I made up to get attention" is stupid. A few years ago he reported that there would be Halloween Horror Night type events at Studios, Carousel of Progress was closing etc... NONE Of his "rumors" even came close to being true.

And he's actually been thrown out of the parks at least once so I am not sure his sources still exist.

I think that some employees pass things on to him they sit around in the break room and make up to see if he will believe and 'Tell all" like he knows something LOL!
