How quickly does free dining sell out?

My husband and I are considering a trip for just the two of us in Nov. F&W festival will be going on and we're hoping to stay in a moderate resort, but we aren't quite sure we can go yet. Can we wait a few weeks to book or will we risk the free dining offer selling out?

The current offer expires Sept. 29, so you must book by then. Typically free dinning is offered to help drum up guests for weeks that aren't selling as well. So while you have time to decide I wouldn't put it off too long. To book - a $200 deposit is required and if you change my mind, you can cancel and get your$200 refunded. I've never had a problem in getting my refund. Best of luck.

Like someone said already, you have to book by September 29th so you have some time yet, but POFQ & POR usually book up fast for free dining. You have a good chance getting a room at CBR or CSR w/ free dining if you wait a while. Sometimes rooms open up again with free dining.. thats what happened to me. I couldn't get FD when I booked POFQ back in March for September so I just booked it anyway without it.. room discounts came out, and I switched over to POR Royal Room, paying for dining and it was even cheaper than my original package. Then 2 weeks later, my travel agent emailed me and said some rooms at POFQ were available again for FD, but only in a river view room and that ended up saving me even more money off my package so I switched again. So, it all depends really lol.

Just a heads up - I booked our free dining vacation the morning it was released, at Caribbean Beach. I've been looking around since then to see if any other mods are available, because we'd prefer a room with queen beds.
For my dates, as of right now, there is absolutely no availability in either Port Orleans Riverside or French Quarter. There has been a little availability at Coronado, but only for a King Room, and we were hoping to stick with a standard room.

Like others have said, they may open more up later - but depending on your dates, it's pretty full already (at least in the moderates level).

we are going nov9-15th and the only mod still available for this time is preferred caribbean...log onto there website, act like your going to book and see if there is any left...with these thinned out dates i would say theyll fill up fast..like someone else posted....book with 200 down (least youll know your going) you can cancel up to 45 days till you check in...so go ahead and
pull the tigger; i mean trigger

You all were right. I went ahead and booked it. We couldn't get POR or POFQ so we went with CB. We've never stayed there before, so that will be fun. Another trip to plan

I just booked for dd and I in December w/free dining at FQ, guess I am glad I did! I still can't believe I am going in September and then again in December, too excited! lol
