How quickly do tours sell?

hi everyone,

Just a quick question. How quickly do tours at Disneyland sell out? Do I need to call at 9am 30 days out or do I have a day or two?

Which tour did you have in mind? Some tours which are offered regularly usually have more time for booking. Exception to this rule is if a large group books and takes up most of the spaces. If only one or two spaces are left, that tour will sell out quickly. Also, tours on major holidays book quickly. If you are looking at a special tour, like a holiday themed tour, then I would book sooner than later. Last year we booked the Holiday Time tour and I noticed that those tours seemed to be selling out more quickly than usual. That might have had something to do with the 60th. In past years, our tours have not required us to book as soon as they opened.

If goign for any holiday tour ( Halloween or Holiday) I would do it asap as those do sell out fast!

I'm looking at booking both the happy haunts and walk in Walt's footsteps during the beginning of Oct. I'm wondering if I should call at 30 days out for the first day or if I should wait and call once...I'm guessing that I should call at 30 days and then call the next day for the next one.

Which should I try to book first?

I think your hunch is a good one. Better safe than sorry. Try for the Halloween tour first. Those book quickly. You should have more flexibility with the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour. But if your booking must be on a certain day at a certain time, then definitely be ready to book at 30 days.
