How quick to get taxi

My plan is for my family of 4 to travel from POR to Boardwalk for the Bon voyage breakfast by using a taxi. I know I can go to Bell services (I believe) to request the taxi. How long should I expect between my request, and actually getting in the taxi?

Also, a taxi should accommodate a family of 4, right? I assume my husband will be allowed to sit up front if needed? IT will be him, me, and our 6 and 5 year old (we will be bringing a booster for my 5 year old).

Thanks for any insight!!

I have not been to POR in a long time, but at other resorts you do not ask Bell Services for a taxi, you ask at the Valet Parking window outside the resort. There usually are taxis waiting. A family of 4 should be fine. I personally prefer Uber to taxis (cleaner vehicles and you know exactly how much you will be paying), but you did not ask for that advice.

Bell services at POR since they do not have valet. Usually there are taxis outside POR & POFQ. We once had to wait 10 minutes so give yourself a cushion.

Thank you!! Do you know where we would go at Boardwalk to request a taxi?

I'd consider using UBER or LYFT. Taxis can be pricey at WDW. Usually a deal for first time userez like $20 free etc. Will be cheaper than a taxi.
We used a taxi from beach club to contemporary, it was almost $30

For comparison, according to RideGuru the Uber/Lyft fare would be a little over $6 from POR Riverside to Boardwalk. Taxi would be just under $14. From French Quarter, the fares would be slightly less.

That's a pretty good taxi fare. A few years ago we also paid $20 to go from AKL to AK. We were super late meeting a family member, and the busses were really behind. So we sucked it up. I always feel ripped off by a taxi.
