I'm under the impression that the monorail is quick but how quick is it? If I just miss one how long until the next one comes? If I get on at the Poly how long does it take to make the circle all the way around back to the Poly? How long from TTC to Epcot and back?

TIA, Calie

It really depends. Sometimes when there are heavy crowds it can take longer. Sometimes the one ahead of you is having difficulties and needs to be rebooted (?) and this can hold the entire process up. When we stay at the CR it seems like it takes us forever in the morning to get to the MK but later in the day less time??? That could also be an excitement factor as well. :rotfl: Are you asking because you are trying to have exact times for PS etc.? Or are you interested just because? If you are doing PS or what ever better to be on the early side than miss them. Hope this helps.

Our loops around the monorail have always taken less than 20 minutes. It's such a relaxing and enjoyable way to travel, what better sights than the Contemp, Poly, GF & MK?

The run from the TTC to Epcot is the longest. I would guess 10 minutes? I'm sure someone will know for sure. Please note that you must exit the monorail you caught at the Poly at the TTC. You go down one ramp and up the other side for the Epcot monorail.

With the resort monorail, it really all depends on who is driving. It can take anywhere from 15-26 minutes to do a complete loop, on average. It also depends on which trains are acting up that day.

If you are attempting to travel from the Poly to Epcot, I would suggest walking from the Poly to TTC and taking the Epcot Monorail. That will save you 10 minutes or so.

:sad2: It took forever to get from CR to MK during our Sept trip. It was always stalling. I'd time the stops, 6, 8 minutes were typical. Sometimes we'd be at a station & could get off, sometimes we'd be in the middle of the track. We REALLY missed the WL boat to MK.

There are constantly trains coming and going through each departure point. It you miss the monorail...it will proabably be about 5 minutes before the next one.

I think I've heard that the trip from TTC to Epcot is 8 minutes. It's the best trip IMO, you get to do a little loop through Epcot when you get there.

Thanks everyone for the great info. I just wanted an idea of how much time to allow when traveling the monorail for various PS and activities. We're definately walking to TTC for the Epcot monorail from Poly.
