How packed should we expect MK to be on Valentines day?

WE are going to WDW the week of Valentines and we are already making dining reservations this week. We will either be in MK or AK on valentines day. I would prefer to go to MK have breakfast at Ohana but if it will be to packed we will switch it up and go to AK and make dinner reservations at Flying Fish that night? Just didn't know if a lot of people go to WDW and especially MK on valentines day with their loved ones. I can handle a lot of people but I mean extremely high crowds. Thanks for your help!

We were at Epcot on V Day in 2008 & it wasn't crowded. Cold, but not crowded. Mid Feb isn't a really crowded time unless it's near pres day weekend or mardi gras.

I was at MK on Valentine's Day 2012 (and had dinner at Flying Fish that evening, too!), and it was not crowded at all; a lovely day. (It was a Tuesday.) I don't think of Valentine's Day in and of itself as impacting the crowds (not like a federal holiday 3-day weekend with kids out of school/people off work).

FWIW, Valentine's 2013 is 2 days after Mardi Gras, which reportedly does have an impact on crowds.

I am from Louisiana and we are going for the Mardi GRAS so I am prepared for the normal mardi gras crowd. We go every year at this time except when it falls on Presidents day! I was just curious if I should avoid Magic Kingdom or a signature Restuarant particularly on Valentines.

We are La peeps too, following the Mardi Gras crowd down for the first time. Also first time staying at Disney but second trip. I figure if I handled the crowds with no problem last time, end of May and 7 months pregnant, then Feb will be a piece of cake! Lol!

I will miss all of the parades we normally love, and my kids are sad for that but the mouse trumps beads this year! Besides, after working photography for 7 balls, I figure it'll be time to check out!

I just hope it isn't too cold!!!
