How on Earth....

am I going to spend years without going to WDW? We went last year but before that it had been 7 years since I had been there. Now I have convinced DH to go next year using the excuse that it will be the last family trip before we start working on more kids. I know I would be able to take babies along to WDW but that is just not going to happen with us. So how on Earth am I going to wait until our babies are older to go back?!?!?!

DD is one, we are waiting until she's 5 to go back! That's 4 more years of no Disney!!!!!!!

How about using the "kids are free until they turn 3" excuse? Hehe . I got away with that one a few times, lol! I'm hoping to use it one more time next summer (our youngest will be 2-1/2)! DH is currently against another trip, but I'm hoping they open up free dining again. How could he turn down free dining during the last free summer for our youngest?

I do the kids are free under 3 thing too.

I told my dh we will go again in August 2008 & our youngest will be 2 1/2 then & I keep reminding him she will be free (for the most part).

He keeps saying we should wait until 2009, um..no then we really will have to pay for her.

And since she is my last I don't know how I am going to convince him to go again after that.

Oh & I figure if I keep the Disney on an every 3 year plan so far it has worked (pretty much). And I also figure if I don't plan/go on any other vacations that in 3 years with out one, my dh is burnt out from work so he tells me to just plan on so I do.

Well we had "planned" on skipping 2006 since Sammi had been 3 times already (she's not even 3 yet). But free dining came out and she started talking about our trips once we were home so we decided one more since she's "free" still. So that's what worked for me. We are planning on skipping 2007 - but we are planning on Jan '08 so it really isn't that long. The only bad thing is we were shopping at Kohls last night and Sammi pipes up with "Let's go to Disney tomorrow". It may be harder this next time. (We did just get back though 09/10). I have loved taking her while she's small.....I would have hated to miss these trips with her. Especially this past one - she was SO into princesses and really just everything.

been there done that! Now doing it all over again.

I have been known to mention that when the kids go to kindergarten we can't take them out, or when the kids go into first grade we won't be able to take them out, or next year is MCAS (Mass. state testing) we won't be able to take them out. Then there was the well, we bought dvc, don't you think we should go check it out this summer. Creativity (sp) is the answer. (thank goodness it's not spelling).

I love to go every year! We aren't usually able to, but one could hope and plot . We bought DVC this year so we will be at least every other year now and that's a relief. No more "but this discount is out and lets go while so and so is still free". Unfortunately, DH (in the Army) wants to re-enlist for overseas, possibly Italy or Hawaii, so our trips will be only when our points are about to expire. It gets kinda pricey flying back and forth from overseas, not to mention tireing (sp?).

My DS is 1 and my DH doesn't want to go until he's at least 5 or 6. I'm going to try and convince him to go sooner than that. I can't wait that long!!!
