How old will you be when your DVC contract expires

I feel sorry for those whose contract expires when they're only in their 60's. They're going to have to go through the process of figuring out if they want to renew their membership!

Me? I'm thinking I might sell with a few years left for about $2.83 a point!

All along I've been thinking that I would be 78 years old, counting the years from 1964 to 2042. However, I just realized that since it expires in January, and my birthday is not until June, I will "only" be 77! (DH will already be 78! )

Although I'll be 70 when it ends (hubby will be 68) will I really be upset? That is pretty far away and who knows what the future holds for me or WDW for that matter.

To be honest though I did felt a little cheated when SSR came out with the longer contract.

So I plan on going over those hills (Disney mountains) as long as possible:

At the Magic Kingdom:

...Space Mountain
...Fire Mountain <i>(Assuming they actually do build it. If you haven't heard of it, that's the rumored new attraction that might go in where the 20,000 leagues under the sea ride use to be.)</i>

And can't forget Expedition Everest, guess that qualifies as a Disney Mountain too.

Am I losing my mind? Someone has voted under 50. If the contact expires 2042 then that makes them less than 12 years old right now. If it expires in 2054 then they were just born. Am I missing something? I didn't think you could be less than 18 and be the primary on the account. So that wouldn't make them the oldest on the account.

Oh well, we will be 78 and 77.

Great Poll...I'll be 85, DW will be 84, but more importantly my oldest DD will be 57, DS will be 52, and youngeest DD will be a young 48, and I am sure still enjoying both original contract, and the newest add on at SSR till the ripe age of 62.

Mom and dad just bought a contract, and they are 69 & 65 repectively. dad says he has to find an extra 10 years to life to see the end of is contract at SSR.
