How old where you when..

I was 15 and all 4 were impacted.

A friend of mine who's sister had the same oral surgeon had hers out a few months before mine and she had a reaction to the anesthesia. She went into a coma and died several days later. I had not thought of that in all of these years....:(

I was put to sleep in the office and went home afterwards....It was on a Friday and I was playing raquet ball on Monday....

I was 25 and boy did it hurt!

16. It wasn't that bad for me, but they had my mouth propped open for so long that my mouth got stuck shut because I have a problem with my TM joint. I had to do stretching exercises with my mouth, and it was over a month before I could open it wide enough to eat a sandwich.

I was 19 years old. I had the choice to get them pulled (they had come all the way in) so I got them pulled the day of my last finals at the end of my 1st year of college. Great way to start the summer... although it really wasn't bad at all. That night I was out at a graduation party & eating potato chips :teeth:

The 2 lower ones I had pulled at the age of 35. One of the upper ones I had pulled last fall at the age of 41. The dentist has so much trouble pulling the 3rd one out that I have decided to keep the remaining one.

I am one of the lucky ones who never got wisdom teeth.

Hey luvmydogs. Sounds like you went to the junior prom with a rapper named "Major Puffy Face."

I was 17 and had all 4 pulled at once....is that exciting or what?

I was in my early 20’s. The 3 I had were ‘erupted’ (not impacted). The dentist said that the 2 he pulled would ‘pop out like champagne corks’ – they did! I had no pain, no problems. Although, I couldn’t talk for a while afterwards, and was very tired the next day. I still have the 3rd one.

BTW, my mother and her mother didn’t have any. My father and 5 siblings all had them pretty bad.

I was 16 and it was just after I got my braces off, my wisdom teeth (all 4 of them) were growing sideways and my parents were not about to have them mess up all the work they had paid for.
