How old were you when you first rode a jet?

I was 21 (went to Jamaica)
DH was 38 (our 1st trip to WDW)

Oldest DS-----was the youngest a flight attendant had dealt with at the time........10 days old!!! We were flying from Colorado to Mich. I was very ill and was flying home so my Mom could help me with the baby. (DH was in the Service at the time)

Middle DS was 11 and youngest DS was 9, when we did our 1st trip to WDW.

I think I was 6 when I first flew. It was on a holiday to Majorca, an island near Spain with my mum and dad.

I'll be 34 in May and have never flown. I've been pricing flights to WDW for later this year, but the cost of driving better suits our budget.

I was 8 years old... on my way to Germany from here :)

35 and never flown and probably never will
don't think I can conquer my claustrophobia
those dang planes seem so small
Who knows if I ever fly it will probably be for disney
We take amtrak when youngest dd 6mos is older we may try the drive but she won't sit in carseat for longer than 3 hrs currently without screaming

I've only flown three times.

First, was when I was 19...college roommate and I went to Chicago for a weekend.

Second was the following summer when I did summer school in Paris.

Third was our honeymoon to WDW in 2000.

I'm not a fan of flying...I get really nervous...But I know it's worth it.

I've been in a tiny little 4-man plane but never a jet before.

My first flight was when I was 17 and it was my first trip to WDW!

DD was 1 1/2 when she first flew. :)

I was somewhere around 20 yrs old, New Orleans to Denver via Dallas.

I had always planned to live my entire life without ever riding in a plane. I'm so glad I got the courage to do it. After spending 2 days on a train on the prior visit to Denver, I was pretty amazed at getting there in ~5 hours.

I was 1
DH was 34- his first tirp to Disney in 2000

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I was an infant, probably a few months old (if you don't count the pre-birth flights).

Not only did we fly as a family from LA to Vegas often but we flew from LA to Boston just about ever summer and took one trip to Jamaica. On the longer flights I'd help out the Flight Attendants by handing out menus and such. Those were the days when we all had more freedom. I earned plenty of "wings" when I was a kid. However, I wanted to be a Pilot. That seemed like a much better job, even when I was young.

As an adult I've flown all over North America and parts of the Caribbean. One of the best flights I've taken was one to Florida with a bunch of kids who'd never flown before. The ohhs and ahhs from them were so much fun as they discovered the wonder of flight.

18, had to cut short a vacation to register for college. Flew home ahead of my dad and sister.

younger DS took his first plane ride today, went to WDW with Daddy, while me and big brother are staying home :)

I was 15 and flew from Utah to Phila. with my mom and brother. DH was 24 and flew to St. Thomas with me. My older 2 DS's were 9 and 8 and the youngest was 4 on his first flight. That was 2 different flights to Orlando.

I was 5 when I flew to Los Angeles. I remember a little bit about the flight home. The plane flew during a thunderstorm and things got pretty tense, but I wasn't afraid. I had just come back from my first trip to Disneyland and probably thought this was just another great ride. LOL :D

I was 6--our first trip to Disney World. I was able to go up to the cockpit, and the pilot let me talk to the control tower in Richmond, VA. Big deal for a six year-old!:)

I was 8 or 9, but DD1 was 11 weeks (also when I was 12 weeks pg with her!). DD2 was 7-8 months (5 months pg with her one a different trip). DD1 is a well-seasoned traveller. DD2....when you see the harried mom running laps up and down the aisle of the plane chasing her 2-year-old, that would be me! :o  :teeth:

I was about 15 the frist time I flew.

The first time I took our DSs on a plane, they were 4 months and 20 months. I wonder how I ever did that???? ;) ;)
