How old to rent a room on site?

DD and her friends are talking about going to WDW for their senior trip. Apparently, we are not invited. But I"m not sure they can get a room. They want to go in February, but only one of them is 18. The other two will be 18 in April. Just wondering if maybe we need to go with and get 2 rooms, one for them and one for us.

I thought you had to be 21 to have a room at any of the Disney resorts.

Well some one in another topic on here not too long ago, said that as long as the person on the phone is 21 with a valid credit card AKA parent. Then the adult child could proceed to check in without the parent there.

I would contact Disney to make sure.

I know in Florida, you're supposed to be 21 years of age to rent a room at a hotel. However I've done it many times before I turned 21. Sometimes it took more than one stop along 192, but it wasn't impossible. I never tried at Disney prior to one of us being 21.

After my freshman year of college some friends and I went to Disney. I made the reservation so it was on my credit card and I was 19 at the time. The following year I went to Disney for the college program and made several reservations (again, in my name and on my credit card) for friends and family coming to visit. I was still 19. SO I guess this does not really help the op but in my experience you do not have to be 21 to rent a room on site. Of course I may have just gotten lucky, who knows.

last year we went to Disney and got DD her own room at Pop Century on a separate reservation from ours because she could only stay for 3 days. She was 19 at the time and it was no problem. I used my CC at check in though but I don't think that makes any difference

All I can see on the Disney site is 18. I would just call and ask. But I think it is 18.

18. My friend and I went by ourselves when we were 19 so it is definitley not 21.
