How old is too old for toe rings?

I can only wear one for a couple hours. I can't wear any costume jewelry for more than a few hours at a time
I haven't found a real nice gold one. Anyone know where I can find one like that?

Oh man!!!! I'm envious of the palm tree toe tatoo!

I went to our local tatoo parlor, the one where my ex got all his tatoos and they refused to tatoo a peace sign on my toe. They said since I didn't have any other tatoos, the pain would be too great so they wouldn't do it! I got discouraged and didn't go anywhere else. Now I want a palm tree on my toe. And lips on my butt, but that's another thread.

You're never to old to do anything! Anything I tell you! There are just some days when I FEEL too old to do things. I hope when I'm in my seventies I have days when I do "adventorous" things like that lady did, Laurie! I would be smiling for a long time if I helped her out!

It was really fun helping her. She felt totally scandalous, and all it took was a toe ring.

That's the best part of my job. Helping people find just the perfect thing.

Today at my doctor's office I saw a woman with a toe ring who looked to be in her mid 40's. Nothing wrong with that!

I have a tattoo on my lower back and it'll still be there when I'm 60! Of course by that age, I may not show it off as much.

I think you're my twin.

I have 13 earrings (3 in the cartilidge - all in the same ear), a navel piercing, a tattoo of an abstract martini glass on my lower back, I never leave home w/o my thumb ring...and have worn my toe right for the past 5 years straight. (meaning - i NEVER take it off, not even for pedicures..my toe is now deformed from it!)

that's on my right foot 2nd toe...I have a crystal martini toe ring to wear on my left foot 2nd toe...it's so cute w/ flip flops!

Ok you may be right..Let me count...2 cartilidge-right ear, 3 lobe both ears, one thumb ring-right, one toe ring-second toe-right-also permanently deformed, one tattoo-right ankle. No naval piercing, although I did promise myself if I ever got a flat stomach again, I would do it. No worry about that ever happening in this lifetime.. LOL, stinkerbelle!!

I have 4 on my left ear - stops about half way up the ear.
9 earrings on my right (the top of my right ear is more 'open' then my left ear, so that's why I pierced that side...even though I wanted to do the left...still might get a hoop on my left)

glad I'm not the only one with a deformed 2nd toe!

trust me - I don't have a flat stomach...and I never did have one. get it anyway! it's something that you can 'hide' and it's not permanent like your tattoo.

thinking of going for another tattoo before Disney...thinking an abstract mickey head. heheh

As part of my 45th birthday gift, my DH gave me the most adorable little diamond toe ring he found in Soho, NYC. I don't wear it everyday, but do wear it in the summer when we go out for dinner, parties, etc. I get complements on it every time I wear it and everyone wants to know where I got it.
