How old is too old for kids meal?

On the meal plan?
They will only give kids the kids option. There is no upgrade that we were ever allowed.
We paid oop if we had too. But the plan/meals have changed since we did that, so maybe they allow it now???

Cash paying customer
DD will never eat a adult portion happy with kids items .
Hamburger chicken finger etc.

Anyone can order a kid's meal off a menu at both quick serve and sit down.

At buffets you pay adult price for any person that is 10 year's old and up no matter what they eat.

Sometimes my 14 year old gets and appetizer off the adult menu along with a kids meal.

Sometimes I get a kid's quick serve if I'm not that hungry.

Even if you are on the DDP and adult can order off the kids meal they just don't give you a discount on the plan if you only are going to use it on kids meals so paying for the adult plan makes 0 sense.

With that said kids are almost never going to get a push back. Here and there an adult might get charged an upcharge but I've never been flat out told no I can't have a kid's meal.

Age 10+ has to pay adult price at buffets or AYCTE restaurants.
I think all the others you can order whatever you want.

We have a 87 year old child coming with us very soon -
Not had kids meals at 87 yet!
However had them at 86 last trip with no problems whatsoever.

Yes, a long time ago, my son wanted the kid's grilled cheese pretzel else at Typhoon Lagoon. He was 13 at the time and they would not let him get it. But we've only gotten the dining plan that one time and it included everything.

We visit several times an year and my 11 yo niece often orders off the child menu. We never do the dining plan always ask ahead and it has never been an issue. I would warn that the choices can get repetitive depending on the restaurants and the length of your stay. To avoid this we sometimes split meals when there is something she and another of us would enjoy from the adult menu and she often finds an appetizer she likes and orders that with a side of fruit, veggies or fries to make it a meal.

DD (now 18) orders kids meals quite often as she is very particular and doesn't like a lot of the fancier meal options on the regular menu however most of the kids meals' portions are small so keep that in mind (her biggest complaint now is that it's not enough so she'd wished she ordered 2 kids meals), "some" of the restaurants will actually take a kids meal item and modify it into a regular portion with a small upcharge.

At Via Napoli this past november, my oldest wanted the kids spaghetti and my youngest was sharing a pizza with the adults. The waitress said she wasn't allowed to get the kids meal so I said ok it's for the younger kid. Then we gave it to the oldest. We were paying cash too, no dining plan. I think there was a little bit of language barrier though and it was so loud in there. Not sure we completely understood each other.

I think they need to rename the kids meals to something like "Jr/Sr meals". My 81 year old mother got the kids meals most of the time because she just does not eat that much. She always worried about being in trouble for ordering them, LOL.

My adult niece odered off the kids menu at TS restaurants when she was not too hungry. Not an issue.

On DDP - If a child 10 or older wants kid food (chicken tenders, etc), they can ask for an adult size portion of a kid meal.

We do this frequently
