How old do you have to be to stay?

Thanks guys. I never realized this would be such a a hot topic. DD is better now. I don't think I am going to worry about it and I am not going to change anythin right now. I just didn't want her to be crying for such a silly reason.
DD is in a very rigrous program at an Art school. This is basics year and there are no drop adds etc. with this curriculum. Art schools have a very high drop out rate. This school graduates 90% of the freshman class. It was difficult to get in and she will not jeopardize her future if I can help it. Disney will be there but the model will not. Life drawing is like a science lab for a regular student.
When she was little we would tell her she could be a Disney Artist if she really wanted to. The reality is she does have that much talent and she is very bright . Thanks again.

That puts an entirely different spin on it. Obviously, she can't skip the class. My response certainly would have been different had I known all the facts.

She should have no trouble checking in to a hotel on her own in the spring. She'll really be ready for some R&R by then!

Or, she could take the next flight out... it may be easier to get a voucher for sooner rather than later.

Good luck to your daughter, and I hope her dreams of becoming a Disney Artist come true. She should look into the advanced internships with Disney as she gets to her senior year. They could be just the ticket she needs!

DisneyDenise....where is she studying? My DS is studying Art/Architecture/design at the local University, and his work has already caught the eye of 2 profs in just the first couple of weeks.

She is at the Moore college of Art and Design. She wasn't really sure she wanted to go there and we were heading to Pratt the weekend after 9/11. We never went and then she started to think that Moore would be a good choice. She was not thrilled about the all girls thing but she likes fashion and really at 18 who knows what they want to be heck I still am not sure and I am 48. Right now it is overwhelming but every day she seems so much better. I am sure she will know what she wants by her Junior year . Illustration is another thing she is thinking about. She had always had a thing about shoes too. It really is great to be young rignt now. You can do anything you want. When I was picking a major it was teaching or nursing and I didn't like sick people. Thanks so much for everyones help. I have thought about changing her flights out and back and we may still do it. I just didn't want her to think we were all going to have fun while she stayed at school and did work. She is still my baby I know it is time for her to break away but I am having a bit of a time with the thoughts of it. Thanks again I am sure by the time Spring is here the last people she will want to go anywhere with is the family.
