How old are your pets?

We currently have 2 cats. Monster, the girl, is 12, and Dio, the boy, is 5. I'm sure Monster has plenty of years left in her (they're both strictly indoor cats, and she's still pretty spry and playful), but I sometimes think about how Dio will be when she's gone. I know that animals mourn their companions...

I also still consider my cocker spaniel Tara my pet, even though she passed in September 2011 at 17 1/2.

Hmmm...I only really keep up the doggies. The cats come and go, but the two I like are 7 and 8.

Dogs:
Penny...14
Babe Ruth and sister Dixie...12 (in a month)

Maya...4
Rosie...3

We had two kitties one we lost 1 month after her 16th Birthday the other we lost 1 month shy of her 17th Birthday.
I thought I'd never have more pets, yeah right that lasted 4 months.
We adopted two kittie but lost one at 9 months we were devestated as was his brother. Soon after that we started fostering, it was a wonder experience but we stopped when we had FOUR of our own. Two born in 2009 Two in 2010 !

Sadie is 11 going on 12. A Jack Russell Terrier who is still full of energy.
Allie is 5 going on 6 my cat.

We lost two cats last year one to an unknown cause at 8 Kenzie and then Cassie was attacked by an animal and we aren't sure of her actual age.

Maggie is a sheltie/collie mix (but way more collie) and she just turned 16 in December. We know that every month we have with her is a extra (but then again we have been saying that for about 2 years!) She has some trouble with her back legs and some trouble seeing...and selective hearing...but she sure loves to eat!! :rotfl2:

Wow, that sounds just like my Jack Russell! She will be 17 in June, God willing!

Our doggie is between 14 and 16 and our kitty is 17.

My cat Baby was 18 yo and passed 7 months back.
still seems like last night.......

my other kitties are Kyla a calico is 10 years.
my orange kitten Luna is now 4 months old.

Current boy kitties are only 3 yrs old, but our previous girl cat was 21 yrs old when she passed.

Our Golden Retriever is almost 13. She's starting to move so slow, hates going up and down the stairs now. It seems like just yesterday she was a pup.

The cat is 14 and has 9 lives. She was supposed to have been dead about 2/3 years ago according to our vet. She had kidney issues that was supposed to kill her but we started giving her some special food the vet recommended and she is alive and well. I don't see her slowing down as much as our dog, I think she will be one of those cats that lives to be 20.

Our dog Humphrey is a 2 1/2 year old Border Collie mix and the best thing that ever came into my life!!

Our cats are:

Babe, solid gray tabby, who is 15 1/2 and doesn't show her age at all.

Booey, orange tabby, who is 15 and has lots of health issues and is deteriorating before us. :(

Tarzan, gray striped tabby, who is 9 and a total Mama's boy and very healthy.

Yogi and Bubby, orange and white tabbies, are twins from the same litter, aged 6 1/2, and they are 23 and 22 pounds a piece!!!!!

Grayson (cat) is going to be 5 years in March
Briella (cat) is going to be 2 years in February
Canyon (Toy Poodle) is 2 months
Ryker (Toy Poodle) is 2 months

We lost two of our dogs last year. Phoebe was 15 and Iggy was 14. We have our cat who is 11 and our two dachshunds. Tipper is 10 and Bella is 4.

Our first dog made it to 12 but developed a tumor that wouldn't go away (shepherd mix from the shelter)

Dog #2 is almost 12 and slowing down significantly. He's going deaf and getting shaky (Dalmatian mix from the shelter)

Dog #3 is almost 4. DH found him a few months after dog #1 passed (75 pounds of mutt love; vet thinks he might have some terrier in him)

Both cats are 5 1/2 (an orange & white male and a black long-haired female)

We have a Teacup Yorkie named Hercules who is 5 months, and an African Grey (parrot) who we think is almost 5. He was a rescue, so we aren't positive.

We have 5 cats. The oldest is a 10 year old female. The rest are males: 4 years old, two 2 year olds (they are litter mates) and an 11 month old. Our 15 year old cat died last spring.
