How often would you go to Disneyworld?

I'm reasonably happy with how often we are able to go right now. If money weren't an issue we would have a second house next to WDW and be snowbirds. We'd head down in November and stay through April.

We haven't had nearly enough time there yet. If I could afford it, I would take just a few days two or three times a year or a couple of weeks every other year. We only go for 6 days on our trips and it is not enough time to do everything we want to do as much as we want to and we are totally exhausted trying to do it all!

I would go twice a year...

But plan it so it was 3 times in 12 months...

Like July, Dec., June...To get Three trips out of APs

We go once a year now but like others I like the twice a year idea. We are actually trying for three times this year our second trip is less than a month away! I hope we don't get WDW burn out by the third trip in November though.:)

We road trip down about 4 times a year. 3 short trips (3-4 days) and 1 big trip in December.

The ol' minivan has some SERIOUS mileage on it. 7 (ish) hours each way...

If money were no object we'd spend at least a month down there. Seriously.

We also tell our daughters not to tell people how many times we've been down. They either think the girls are lying or that we're nuts.

I would like to go once a year to a year and a half. Right now we go every 2-3 years. I'm afraid if I went more than 1x a year, it would lose some of the magic that it has now.

Honestly, if you could afford it, how often would you like to go to Disneyworld?

If we could afford it (and had the time off) I would love to go 2 times a year at least. For now I will be happy with every 18-24 months. Unfortunately we will have to save to go to the Bahamas every other year (I figure) to see family...hmmm, maybe a Disney Cruise and they could meet us 1/2 way in Nassau or even up to Cast-a-way Cay???

Well....if it were up to me we'd move down there so I could go with DD weekly (SAHM) and take our vacations somewhere else. If we had to stay living here, then 4 times a year, once a season. Of course that would be with unlimited funds and time off. That would be often enough to still miss it, yet close enough to really relax and enjoy being there without having to worry about "doing everything".

About once a year or every second year. I love Disney, but there are many other places I would like to take the kids as well. Right now, I would probably go to Disney once a year but as soon as the boys are a little bit older (and there are more places I can reasonably take them - London, Hiking, Egypt etc.) every two or three years would be enough. I have to admit though that we do stay two to three weeks at a time as it is and with unlimited funds we would definitely stay deluxe.

When I win the Lottery:rotfl2:I am going to move to florida and go to Disney every day:cool1: I would live on Main Street USA if I could.
Then on the days the season pass didn't work we could go check out another park or place.:flower3:

:thumbsup2 Me too! I could LIVE there! If my eyes weren't so wrinkled & my thighs weren't so jiggly, I could SOOOO be a princess in the castle! princess: I absolutely  WDW! I would love to retire to Orlando & go constantly! But, DH wants to retire to the mountains :sad2: That's when I remind him of Blizzard Beach.......

Once a year would be perfect for our family. Our goal is at least once every other year.

IF money wasn't an issue, we owuld still only go once a year, but maybe stay a little longer and at a Delux.

I would love to go more, however they really appreciate going once a year. I would never want them to take anything for granted especially something that is special to us as Disney world is. We save our change, money from birthdays, XMAS and they get DD for all occassions. They enjoy checking our Disney Fund Jar to look at the money and going to the bank to see how much change we actually have in our Disney jar. We wait all year for this. We love the anticipation. We start our countdown as soon as we come home. Once a year is just perfect.

Well if money and missing school/work were not an issue, I just might live there. :lmao:
But I would be THRILLED to go about quarterly...that would handle a lot of major celebrations. Go for Halloween, Christmas time, my dd's birthday is in April, and then mine is August. But if I could take LONG trips (like 2 weeks at a time) I could deal with going twice a year. Probably Oct and May would be ideal (but again...can't miss that much school).

If left to me 1 or 2 times a year, but my DD 15 wants to live there. Not Orlando, but the castleSo there is an advantage to having less money.

My DW said that I would get bored going every day but after rushing around all these years trying to take in the whole place I don't think so. I can inagine just checking out every bench in Disney and people watching with no cares because I will be back tomorrow.

If money were not an option, I'd like to go once a year for about 10 days, so we could really take our time and relax...but still have time to do the things we want to do.

In reality, we're hoping to go every 1.5-2 years using our DVC points. Its what we can afford for now. When the kids get older, we'll use those off years for trips like Yellowstone, Europe, etc. While they are little, it would be so nice to do a yearly Disney thing!

If money were no option, we would go every 2 to 3 years. We actually go more often than that (every other year or so), but it's because WDW or DL is a vacation I can afford. If I could go anywhere, I'd be going on Galapagos and Antarctica cruises and hiking around southeast Asia etc. on vacation.

I'd like to be able to be there for each *special* event, Flowers, food/wine, MNSSHP, MVMCP etc. We have been twice both times in Dec, which I love and couldn't imagine going at any other time, unless of course funds were *unlimited*

I agree...

Right now we average twice/year, and we try to hit one of those events during our stays. Fall for Food and Wine Festival and Halloween Party is probably my favorite though...
