How often to park reservations “sell out” these days?

How often do park reservations fill up lately? We have a trip planned at the end of May. I haven’t purchased tickets yet because with my current health issues, I may not be able to go. So I would like to wait as long as I can before I buy tickets, but I of course don’t want to have park reservations gone either.

My wife and I go to DW 5 to 6 times a year and over the last couple of years we have never had a problem. In fact, with 3 trips already this year we haven’t even had to reserve a park.

This is the Disneyland forum. At Disneyland, reservations are required. Walt Disney World no longer requires reservations for the majority of ticket holders.

Depends on the ticket. The discount ticket reservations (SoCal, anniversary) will often sell out much sooner than standard ticket reservations- particularly on holidays and weekends.
