How often does the price of an AP go up??

When is the next expected rate hike??

We are wanting to get AP's next time we go in Dec./2005. I told DH that maybe we would want to by the vouchers early next year before any rate hike.

I thought I saw on DebWill's site that the last rate hike was in March of this year. Is that right?? When do you think they will go up again?

Usually they only go up once a year, and the increase is not huge (maybe $15 at most). My suggestion would be to buy the vouchers as soon as you have enough money for them. That way you don't have to worry about an increase, and don't have to worry about them already being active either, since they give you a voucher. A word of warning though, keep that voucher receipt. If you lose it for some reason it's your only hope of getting new ones.

The prices just raised 10 dollars on the AP's about a month or 2 ago.

Huh?? Are you sure it wasn't March?? Deb's site doesn't have anything about an increase this past summer.

I am sure it was around that time. I don't tend to remember exact spacifics but knew it wasn't too long ago.

On a good note, if it was that long ago, boy has time flown fast and hopefully it will seem just as fast for my vacation to get here

The last increase in Annual Pass prices was on March 28. I remember cause I bought my vouchers the day before they increased the price.

Usually someone one the boards finds out about the increase a few days beforehand. My hubby and I unfortunately didn't have time to go get the APs before the price was raised though. I would expect the increase to happen around the same time of year, but you never know. Like I said, your best bet is just to buy them as soon as you're financially able to.

do I have this right?? I thought that you could order them over the internet through Disney. That is what I am hoping to do. I don't have anything else nearby (store or whatever) that sells them.

They only go up when it's renewal time.

You can order it online or on the phone (407-WDISNEY). They will charge you a $3 shipping charge per order, not per ticket.

There is no set times that AP's go up but I can tell you this much with certainty. Word has already come out that UPH's will be going up in the beginning of 2005. You can be pretty safe in figuring that AP's will follow suit very soon thereafter. Of course as in all things Disney, nothing is etched in stone. But that's the way it appears at this point in time.
