I don't have carpet. I vacuum out the couch when I think about it, and I vacuum out my truck when I can't stand the cheerios on the floor anymore.

The carpets upstairs at least once a week, the first floor is tiled and it gets vacuumed everyday.

I need to vacuum every day. Notice I said "need". I try to because between the 3 kids, dog and cat it needs to be done. It's hard in the summer when it's so hot though. But at least every other day.

We have hardwood through the kitchen & dining rooms as well as the foyer and tile in one bath and it ALL gets vacuumed each day (sometimes twice a day) along with the carpet...the couches, dog crates, and spare bedroom bed (where the dogs lay to look out the window) get vacuumed every other day or so. Lots and lots of vacuuming to do at our house becuase of the dogs...but lots and lots of love from them to make it all worth it! At least that's what I tell myself as I vacuum my life away...

Once a week the whole carpet gets done. But I vacuum up the cat hair clumps I see on a daily basis. The kitchen floor is done everyday with a Swifter mop.

With 2 golden retrievers and 3 cats I vacumn every day. I love my pets but as each goes to the great beyond my vacumn will get less and less work.

Because of health problems vacumming in the one chore I can't do. My ds or my dh does it at least once a week.

Twice a day. I have all hardwood floors with an are rug in the living room and tile in the kitchen, bath and laundry room. We have 8 cats and 3 kids ( 2 in their 20's). So I vacumn twice every day.
