Since we moved out of the country, I only get (have to :rotfl: ) see my in-laws about once every two years.
Although I personally don't mind, I do regret that my kids can't see their cousing, aunts, grandparents more often.
How often do you see your in-laws?

Only a couple of times a year. That's too much for me. :rotfl2:

A few times a year. They live near Chicago. My mil used to work for the airlines and gets benefits. When my 17 year old daughter was first born and we lived in Missouri, they would fly down every 6 weeks and spend the weekend for the first few years.

We see MIL almost every Sunday. My dh would answer this EVERY DAY since my dad lives with us.

Once every few years. They live in FL and don't come up here to visit.

I voted once every few months. I have "decreed" that we will only visit them twice a year. A four hour long car trip is difficult with little kids and their house is incredibly boring. And they don't live near anything interesting. MIL has on occasion been known to drive here to meet us for dinner and then drive right back home. That happens maybe once a year.

We only see them every couple of years because they live in England.

If right now is any indication of how often I'll see my (soon to be MIL), it'll be at least once a week. :badpc:

We live in Arkansas and MIL is in Calgary, Canada. She has seen my daughter a total of 4 times in her life of 7 years, and only 1 of those times did she come to see us the rest we had to go to her. My parents on the other hand live in BC Canada try to see my daughter every 6 months. And they almost allways come down to see us.

I can understand a lack of money, but it costs alot more for 3 of us to go to canada than 1 or 2 people to come down here. Its only been the past few years that MIL has even sent christmas presents and we hardly ever see birthday presents. I find it very frustrating that MIL doesn't want to be in my daughters life. But my parents help make up for that with spending quality time and really being interested in my daughter.

Not very often... long story as to why. I saw them for the first time in years over TG week. They just don't put out much effort when it comes to us, and it has taken its toll on us sadly

We see them once every few months. We hear from them about that often too. They're social lives are too busy to fit us in.

I answered other because I really don't know how often we will see them. MIL moved to SC in June but was back here often because her house hadn't sold. They finally closed Dec 1. SIL moved that day to NE and we haven't talked to BIL in two years. I don't think we will ever see his siblings again.

A few times a month - depending on if we need them for childcare and DH's crazy schedule. They were at my house all day last Wednesday since DS was sick. And then 1/2 of Saturday for DS's birthday party. But if DS doesn't get sick again (fingers crossed) we wont see them again til Dec. 30.

It all depends on what time of the year it is. In the warmer months, we see them 2-3 times a month, the colder months, maybe once a month.

About once a month. And that is too much for me. I try to book myself up on the weekends so they can`t come over.

I said other as it is at least 5 times per week. My DH brings them over there when he has them while I am at work....less work for him to do  but it has helped the kids really have a great relationship with their grandparents and uncle who still lives there too :thumbsup2 My inlaws are amazing so no problems with how frequently they see them. Also even on my "off" days they have been known to pop over just because, so it is at least 5 times.

At least once a week, if not more, for both my FIL and my parents. My FIL lives in the same town we do, so we see him pretty frequently. He's not one to stop by unannounced, so we have to call him to ask him for dinner, etc. My parents live about an hour away. We see them about once a week also, as they have been dog sitting our puppy when we both work 24 hour shifts.

I kind of like having everyone right close. It will be great when the baby is born that our parents will be nearby.

Jen

At least once a week, they live 2.4 miles away. :sad2:

They have passed away now, but when they were alive we'd see them at least a couple of times per week. They lived about 5 minutes away and we had a good relationship.
