How often do the EMHs change?

I'm getting a bit frustrated planning our trip because I want to go to the parks that don't have EMH for that day...but the EMHs could be totally different in December.

How often do they change? When it's time to make PS reservations (90 days) will they have them set? Or could they change suddenly at the last minute?

How do you guys plan around them?

They do change from time to time but for the most part they are relatively consistent.

No, park hours and EMH will not be out by the time you are ready to make PS. December hours are released around October 1.

They won't post the EMH until the park hours are posted at around 60 days out. Sometimes the EMH come out a little later. They changed ours before our trip last week so it's kind of hard to make solid plans. Depending on where you are staying you may want to make advanced reservations at some local restaurants. We stayed at the Boardwalk and planned on some meals in the area restaurants. This worked out when they changed the EMH and it had a minimal impact on our dining plans. We changed almost all our park plans due to the EMH changes but it was pretty easy since we were so close to Epcot and the Studios and only needed buses to the MK and AK.

no they only come out about 2 months before which makes no sense to me, I rather them back track PS to 60 days to be inline with it.

Based on historical trends, does anyone want to hazard a guess on EMH hours for Jan 1-6/06?
