How often do renovations run on time?

I am wondering whether it is realistic to expect renovations to restaurants (or I guess rides too) to be done on time. Specifically I am thinking about GF Cafe which is being temporarily used by the princess meals while 1900 PF undergoes renovations. It is supposed to be done by October 1 and we are going a week later. But I am wondering it if is realistic to think it will be done on time, or if I should make ADRs somewhere else instead. Any theories?

They tend to be very accurate. One thing that is a factor about a fews days difference is staffing. It takes several weeks to set things up.

Let's say, for example, the 1st of a month is a Monday. During the week of the 7th thru 13th the schedulers will work on the CM schedule for the 21 - 27 and the schedule will be posted on the 14th.

So if a location initially is scheduled to reopen during the week of the 21st, and they realize it will be ready earlier, the schedulers will have to be notified by the end of the prior month so they can schedule people for the week of the 14th.

If you are concerned that the renovations will run long, don't be. That seldom happens. That's because they are losing revenue while the place is down, so they keep tightly to schedule. Sure, unforseen things can happen, but Disney has a lot of experience in this so they have a plan for just about everything.
