One of my children DOES NOT like scary things at all. So how not scary is it? Did any of your children still find it a little scary?

Their is a stage show w/ all of the villains, the music is kinda dark and the castle is lit earily. their is some light fog in the entrance along w/ ghosts (mickey under a sheet) lights on the path and walls. The parade is pretty safe though, I don't think it's too scary. Other than that the characters are dressed in fun costumes and the park is well lit. There isn't any of that jump out and scare you stuff. The idea of the party is for the little kids to have fun...not scare them. So maybe stay away from the castle when they do the villains show and you'll be good. OH and the headless horseman leads the parade and it is a real horse w/ a rather large headless guy, so maybe just be prepared for that.

Just remember that many of the guests will be dressed up... and some of the costumes people choose can be scary even for a child not usually frightened.

That is true. I hadn't thought of that. It always ticks me off when people let their children wear inappropriate costumes (or wear them themselves) like lolita style costumes or scary stuff. But I think there is enough of a fun atmosphere that you can distract a little one with.
