How necessary is a ps in Feb?

Hi there
We'll be in Orlando from the 29th Jan thru til 15th Feb and have a ps for Chef Mickeys and the Princesses at Epcot.
Now DD has expressed a wish to have lunch at Crystal Palace - how necessary do you thing it will be for me to call ahead (we're in the UK) at this time of year?
Do you think it would be possible to just go early in the day?
I've no idea how busy the parks will be whilst we are there.

You won't need one for lunch, really. Usually lunches are much less busy than dinners, especially that time of year. We've never had a problem just walking into lunch.

i would call or speak with guest services upon arrival at your resort for a few days ahead of time... most likely not necessary to call any more in advance than that!

We were wondering this as well.. we MAY go for lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and the books say to get a PS, is this needed at the end of January?

If you're going on a weekday, no, you won't. On a weekend, maybe. We were really disappointed in the Rainforest Cafe, both lunch and dinner (and saw a roach on our table, eek!), though

Yes it would be a weekday.. but YUCK I could not handle that on my table!!!

Making PS's is not really necessary to do now; you could make the PS's once you get to either your resort or at guest services at one of the parks.
I would suggest that you do make PS's though: it is much better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.

I am going from Feb 1 through to Feb 16 and have made all my PS's except one: I still need to make for RainForest at AK. Although the ambiance is not for everyone, I enjoy eating here once everytime I get to Disneyworld. Interestingly enough, I do not like the DTD restaurant, nor will I go to one anyplace else.
