Hi all

Looking at going to dlrp this year for about 3 day. There are 2 of us.

We looked at going euro star and it's coming out about £1000 staying on site. Coach is about £600. Just seams very expensive. Been to Florida twice and that's cheaper worked out per day.

What's our best options.

Thanks

Look at booking your transport separate as that usually brings the cost down.

When are you looking at going and what hotel? Look at the different countries sites as they have different deals. Also bear in mind that onsite includes passes and breakfast with the exception of Davy Crockett ranch

And maybe you're looking at weekend arrival? That is priced higher too.

::yes::

And price up staying offsite at one of the near the magic hotels - they're more 'onsite' than the majority of WDW ones although you'll then have to factor in probably not having breakfast included (some deals do include this however) and buying either park tickets or annual passes. This is the way to go if you're planning more than one trip - and consequently we used to get our DLP trips to work out roughly the same per day as our WDW ones.

What month are you thinking of going?

We really don't mind when we go or where we stay. Open to ideas.

Thanks for the help :)

if you want to go sometime this year, have a play about on the Eurostar website, see if you can find the £69 per adult return fares direct from the UK (London, Ebbsfleet or Ashford) to DLP. Those are the cheapest fares, and as long as you are not planning on going in school holidays, you should find them.

As others have already said, look for midweek check-in dates, avoid weekends completely. If you want 3 nights at DLP, you are likely to get a pretty good deal for onsite which includes breakfast and park tickets for 4 days, if you choose a low season period (ie September for example). 2-night stays tend not to get such good deals, and remember to check other countries versions of the DLP site (ie France, Netherlands etc) once you have an idea of when you would like to go, to see if their offer would suit you better (different countries get different offers, and you can book using any country's offer).

The cheapest time of year for onsite is from January to March, so if you were thinking of next year, you can see prices now on the DLP site for that period (although Eurostar prices aren't out yet).

got to do your homework if your dates are not fixed then deals are to be had got to play around on their website even one day to the next can change massive in price we booked last aug for this april 2 adults and 3 kids so had to book 2 rooms onsite inc Eurostar £1130 for 8 days good luck
