So we were looking to see if the old show Bill Nye the Science Guys was available on DVD. The only place it can be purchased is through Disney's Educational Productions... for $2,999.00.

Well that is a lot but it also includes 2600 episodes so it is just over $1 per episode. Though I do agree the money could be spent in a better way. I suppose if it was for educational purposes like for school or homeschooling, one might see the value for the lump sum.

There is a 10 disc set on Amazon for $288.99 and they also have some single discs as well.

Actually there were only 100 episodes made, at 26 minutes each. That is $29.99 per 26 minute episode. These were fantastic shows, but that is really a lot of money per episode

For my MS science class last year I used the Bill Nye videos. Just you tube them. Each episode is broken down into approximately 8 minute segments.

And best of all youtube is free!!

yup you're right I sa 2600 and thought it meant episodes and thought wow didn;t realize there were so many lol
