Hello, I am starting to make and sell italian modular charms with peoples own photos on them. I have looked online to see what they are going for and the prices are so widespread that i have no idea what to charge? If you saw one, how much would you pay for one? any ideas?

Thats a cute idea.

I have no idea what the charms actually go for without the pictures....but bumping this for you in case someone more familiar with Italian charm bracelets can help you further.

I don't know how much those items specifically are worth, but you should probably consider different markets for your products, and recognize that you may be able to expect different markets to support different prices. I suspect online would be the least profitable venue for selling (anything, really), so be prepared to sell things at a lower price online than, say, you would at a flea market, or to neighbors.

I think it would depend a lot on what it's made of. Gold will definitely be higher than say an overlay or sterling. If you're talking platinum, it would go much higher. Personally, this is what I'd want mentioned if I was going to buy and it would determine what I was going to pay too.

right now they are sterling silver, they do make the two tone or gold but they are so expensive to start with they would bring the price over $20 for a charm. And even through some people spend that much on a charm, most dont. I am thinking in the $8-$12 range for the charms because thats what they are going for on ebay........

Can you post one once you've made it. I might be interested in ordering one for my Godchild (for the bracelet I gave her for her 1st Communion.) I think $8 to $12 is reasonable & I'm a very cautious shopper. (Not cheap, just cautious!) :teeth:

I tried to take a picture of the bracelet that I made myself ( I have been making them for family and friends for about 6 months ) but of course the battery is low on my camera and wont take clear pictures. i will tak some more as soon as i go to the store and replace the batteries...
