how much will I save with the AAA package?

I have AAA but haven't called or found a website to give me this info yet. I looked at the wdw site and it quotes $2238.64 for 6 nts. in March, 2Aand 2C at POP with dining. Is there a percentage they take off like in room only rates?

The room portion of a AAA package will be discount the same amount that a room-only reservation will be. There is no set "percentage off" formula for packages. My AAA, aaamidatlantic.com, will email me a quote if I fill out the appropriate form online. It takes a few days for them to get back to me but they can do it.

It's also very important for you to let them know whether you want insurance on your package or not. Disney adds insurance on the last page of your online reservation process. Most AAA TAs will automatically add it in if you do not specifically request that they do not.

If you don't want to wait and you've got the time to play around with the numbers, you can do the following:

• Go to Disney's website and get a quote for your package. Let that value be 'X'.
• Return to the beginning and get a room-only quote for the same dates and resort. Let that value be 'Y'.
• The difference between X and Y is how much the dining and tickets cost you in a package. That number is the same whether it's a AAA package or Disney package. Let that value be "Z"
• Now take a look at Y. Your discount will vary depending on the season and the type of resort. If you're staying at a value resort during peak season (which includes all of March), you will get a room discount of 15% off the rack rate. Multiply Y x .85 and this will give you the cost of just a room with the AAA discount. Let that value be "A".
• Add A + Z and you'll get a good idea of what the cost of your AAA package should be.
