How much to upgrade to DVC AP with water parks?

Trying to figure out if I should upgrade my son's AP because he and friend are planning on going to each water park on our June trip. I see one option is the annual water park pass which is 125. Which would be valid until next June. His AP expires in Nov. so not sure upgrading his AP is the best thing Not sure if I should just pay for the two water park days. Any advice?

Does he have a Gold or a Platinum?

Gold to Platinum Plus would be $210 plus tax. Platinum to Platinum Plus would be $90 plus tax.

I think single day water park passes with the DVC discount are $45/day - if just going to each one once that would probably be the best.

Do you know if we can buy those two days ahead of time or just day of? Can I add those to his magic band so they are on there?

Sorry I'm not sure. We only bought them once and did it day of at the water park.
