How much to upgrade ticket to AP?

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum or not. Please feel free to move if it's not.

I purchased tickets online through undercover tourist before the ticket increase. I purchased the 7 day PH no exp. We are arriving on Saturday for a week and going for a week in May so I want to upgrade to an AP and also purchase the TIW card. I know some CM's are more skilled in the art of upgrading so I wanted to be sure I knew how much $$ we were talking before I attempted this.

As far as I am aware, the current gate price for the 7 day PH no exp is $427.07 and the AP current price is $520.79. This means it would be $93.72 per ticket regardless of the $$ amount of my original ticket. Am I correct? Also, when I purchase the TIW, will they refund me the $12 parking fee or give me a gift card of some sort? Also related, I purchased the Spirit of Aloha. When I show them my TIW how do they handle the 20% discount where I've already paid via my CC?

AP cost minus current value of whatever ticket you hold in your hand when you upgrade.

You will get the price that you paid for those passes credited towards the cost of an AP if you try to upgrade without having used them first. So, visit one of the parks first and then upgrade them to APs. That way you will get the full gate value of the ticket applied to your upgrade.

I'm not sure whether you will get your parking validated for the day that you upgrade. It doesn't hurt to ask but don't be upset if they don't offer a refund or GC.

You would need to have the server make a credit to your CC that guaranteed the reservation to get your money back from the Spirit of Aloha show. I've heard of mixed results on getting the refund, not because the CM is reluctant to try but because there are a lot of steps to the procedure and any one of them can go wrong. You might want to ask this one the Restaurant Board where you'll find DISers with more experience in this matter.
