Ok so we are a family of 4 dh 50 me 41 ds 22 and dd 19, we haven't been to Disney since 2006 and I'm thinking prices will have gone up a lot, we are there for 2 weeks in June staying offsite and 2 nights hard rock.. Suggestions of how much money will be needed, for food, snacks and souvenirs.

We are going in April for 17 nights. I have budgeted $800 dollars for 'extras' we are doing such as BBB, manatee swim etc. $1800 dollars for food, walmart stuff, snacks and petrol. We intend to have one meal out a day and eat in villa the rest of the time. $400 dollars for tips and parking and another $1500 general spends. I hesitate to add that up as I like to live in denial of how much this trip has cost me! I figure though at least this way I have accounted for most things so hopefully should be ok, and if not there are always credit cards.

We stay offsite and budget $40 per person per day for food and drinks - always have loads spare. We only take $100-200 in cash for the two of us though - use credit card for everything when we are out there.

Souvenirs - depends how much you want to buy? We probably spend $20 between us on "souvenirs" and $100 each on clothes etc.

I don't have the hassle of working it out thankfully, just put it all on a fee free credit card and pay it off on return, usually works out about $100/day for all our food, drinks, supermarket trips, shopping & gas for the car. Thats for 3 adults. We do have AP's for all the parks though so no parking fees.

we worked on a £100 a day for 5 of us. some days we only spent half other days we spent more but it worked out a good average that paid tips food petrol ,souveniers , malls, supermarket , excursions

Thank you everyone. Will budget for' £150 a day then if we have some left at the end can get something nice. We don't intend to eat at high class restaurants as all like plain traditional food, or except me who is a vegetarian. 134 to go not that I'm counting!!
