Wondering about how long you think this will take at rope drop at Magic Kingdom?

Peter Pan
It's a Small World
Pooh
Ariel's Grotto
Under the Sea
**we have a FP for Enchanted Tales w/Belle that ends at 10:10a.m.**

If we get in right at rope drop, what time will it be when we finish the Grotto about what time will it be?

Nobody can say for sure how long all that would take, and part of that may depend on how quickly you walk. But, if you want to use the ETWB FP I think you'd be cutting it really tight, even with the 15 minute grace period that would extend your return to 10:25.

I would suggest going right to PP, then to Pooh, then UTS and then see what time it is and how long the line is at the Grotto. You should be able to do IASW between 10:30 and 11:00 with a reasonable wait. Even if the posted wait time is around 20 minutes by then, the actual wait may well be shorter.

Typing mobile... sorry I'm so slow, haha!
(I'm assuming rope drop is at 9am that day (I couldn't get the park hours to show up on my phone for some reason) and I don't know if you have EMH or something, regardless, just adjust the time to what I put below!)
I believe this would be your best plan of action:
9:00 - Rope Drop
9:05 - Peter Pan (wait ~15 mins)
9:25 - Small World (wait ~5 mins)
10:00 - Tales w/ Belle (FP+)
10:30 - Under the Sea (wait ~10 mins)
10:45 - Ariel's Grotto (wait ~20 mins)
11:15 - Winnie the Pooh (wait hopefully ~20 mins, could be much longer)

Someone is probably going to come through and hate on my suggestion, but I made it through AK in record time the other day when everyone said I couldn't, so I feel confident! Haha!

Update: As the poster said above, this totally depends on how fast you walk, obviously this is BOOKING it to Peter Pan, which is what everyone else is going to be doing. Just something to think about.

I have to agree w/PP. I know it seems ridiculous to back track around Fantasyland but Small World can wait until last because it doesn't get as busy as the others. So. I would also do PP, Pooh, Grotto. If you still have time before your FP+ expires do Under the Sea or go to Enchanted Tales and then come back to UTS.

One of the reasons I suggest skipping IASW at first is that it's a much longer ride than PP, Pooh and UTS. While you're on the ride the line will be building more at Pooh. UTS will probably have a posted wait time of 20 minutes in that first hour, but in our experience at that time the actual wait equals the amount of time it takes you to get through the winding queue with virtually nobody in front of you.

This is true. Back tracking isn't horrible. It probably makes more sense to save IASW until you've done the others! Like I noted, Pooh's wait can be kind of unpredictable, might as well hit it while it's at 20 mins!

Assuming we take IASM out of the mix (next FP is at Indy Speedway... Then onto Buzz and then Space Mountain Fp)... How long do you think... We will walk fast ;0)

Nobody knows.
Seriously.
All plans will must adapt to meet the real-world conditions that day.

We can guess, of course, but that's all we can do.

75-100 minutes would be my GUESS. 20-ish minutes for each with extra time throw in for lines and crowds. Pre-New Fantasyland I did Pan, Dumbo, Pooh and Small World in 50 minutes at RD.

Our route is usually:
Peter Pan
Pooh
Ariel
Under the Sea
and then we hit IASW on our way to HM.

In August, we were exiting Under the Sea by 9:30, BUT MK actually opened before 9:00, so we were walking up Main Street at 8:45, which was a huge help. Also, it was 8000 degrees and there were no people in the park, and those who were there seemed to be lined up for 7DMT and/or A&E.

Thanks... I was curious approx time for this line up even though you really never know.... I think if we don't lolly gag we can get through pp In 20 min.... Pooh should be quick so really just the grotto which is a new one for us in this go round You did great this summer! That must be record time! :0)

Skip Small World which is about a 10 minute ride and you should probably be fine.

That time of year we have:

1. gotten there at Rope Drop
2. booked it to Peter Pan while everyone else headed to new Fantasyland and walked on Peter Pan
3. went from there straight to Pooh and walked on
4. went from there to Ariel's Grotto and had less than a 5 minute wait;
5. went from there to Under the Sea and walked on; and
6. went from there to a 10:00 a.m. BBB appointment and may have even still been 10 minutes early.

I would follow that pattern, and then do ETWB whenever you have finished under the sea as you will be very close to it. After ETWB, you can hit Small World...or you can always come back to it later.

Don't forget to go back that direction and hit Philharmagic at some time too! It is a terrific 3D Donald Duck movie!
