I know this will vary depending on the airport. I'm coming from Indianapolis.

A few months back, many of you were arriving at the airport 3 hours ahead of your flight. Is this still the standard?

I really think 2 hours should be enough, but it's been a few years since I flew. I'm not finding much help on my Indy airport site about this topic.

2 hrs is fine. I never get to the airport any sooner than that, and sometimes I leave only about 90 mins. Depends on the airport and the time of day I am traveling.

Which airline are you flying? Many of them have "recommended check-in times" listed for individual airports; it's usually somewhere on their home page (I know SW does, and maybe Delta). If not, the TSA site may have that info. Have a great trip! :)
