How much time for SD Zoo and Seaworld?

I was wondering how much time would be needed to enjoy these two parks. Thanks for your help.

I would personally do 1 day for each. The zoo has so much ground to cover that you'd probably not be able to see every single thing in a day, but you'd see the majority and have time to see whatever animals are on your must see list. For SW, a day is plenty of time to see the shows, exhibit, & rides & spend time w/ the animals.

Is this a group of adults and kids or just adults or solo?

Sea World has a lot of shows, so you have to time out what you want to see and when the shows are (if you want to see them). The zoo also has a couple little feeding times and small educational shows.

I would think you would want pretty much a full day at each. We are two adults and we have gone at opening (9am at the time) and stayed till around 3 or 4. But we linger at the stuff we enjoy- but also walk quickly through the parks. With kids I would think you would want more breaks for snacks and lunch/potty stops/ and to go a little slower.

We love the zoo and we LOVE Balboa park- make sure you work in a at least a quick stroll through the grounds there or the botanical gardens. So pretty! Have fun!

I would say one day each. We went to SW for 2 days last time and we literally saw and rode everything they had, kind of nice, but not necessary at all. I think one day would be fine.

It is our little family: Me(41), DW(36), DD(8), and DS(6)

Another vote for one day each. In fact, the SD Zoo in the end is just a zoo. A good one to be sure (we used to have season passes there). If your time permits the Wild Animal Park is an extension of the zoo and is thus different. It may be a better alternative. If you have done AK at WDW though I would say skip WAP and stick with the zoo.
