I'm planning on trying to get to Rafiki's Planet Watch during the morning (9:30-10ish) so we can try to catch one of their veterinary procedures. Aside from watching that for a little bit, how much time should I be setting aside to take the train in and out, peep a vet procedure, pet a few animals and look around? I have no idea how big that area is and I have no idea what to expect! Thanks!

I would say 45 minutes to one hour, if you don't have kids and if you aren't planning on meeting the characters. This is a great place for meet and greets. Be sure to check out the Rainforest Rooms for a nice break.

I'd go more for the one hour time frame but then again, those goats and pigs rein us in (not literally!). And we are 52 and 54 years of age. We also like taking our time with the displays inside Conservation Hall so if you've never seen them and want to learn more about animals and creatures, you might want to add another 1/2 hour. Also, we missed it but one morning there was a three hour procedure on a warthog.
